Minds United FC actively invites volunteers from all backgrounds and is committed to enhancing the number of individuals who participate in volunteering. We also collaborate with community organisations to promote and offer voluntary opportunities to individuals in the local area.
Potential volunteers are requested to meet with the Project Coordinator, where they can express their interests, skills, and suitability for the project, whether it be at our Clubhouse , supporting at our community football sessions or assisting with one of the football teams at the leagues.
After the initial meeting, each volunteer will have an opportunity to participate in a taster session with one of our staff to gain an understanding of the activities.
Following the taster session, if the volunteer remains interested and the staff believe they are a good fit for the project, they will will undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check and be given a four-week trial.
After completing a 3-month volunteering commitment, volunteers will receive a Minds United FC tracksuit and are eligible to be placed on a FA Coaching / Refereeing course or other FA or funded training opportunities.
