From July 2019, Minds United FC began running weekly football sessions in the local community, funded by London FA through the Just Play scheme. In September of that year, the club entered a new team in the Middlesex FA North West London League and partnered with CNWL St Charles Mental Health Centre. By October 2019, the club had received funding from Kensington & Chelsea Foundation to transport players to away fixtures and pay for the Middlesea FA league fees.
In January 2020, Minds United FC secured funding to run wellbeing football sessions at Westway Sports Centre, after receiving the highest votes at the Grenfell Projects Fund Decision Day Event.
The following March, the club was commissioned by The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea Council to provide football services as part of the Community Leadership Programme.
The club achieved FA charter standard adult club status from Middlesex FA in June 2020 and in July 2020, the club founder was awarded Middlesex FA Grassroots Coach Of The Year - Adults 2020.
The club held its first Annual Awards Presentation for the mental health team that competed in the North West London League in August 2020.
From September 2020, the club entered three new teams into the London Borough, Kensington Kings and St Charles Community, and was awarded Middlesex FA Charter Standard Club Of The Month in November 2020.
The club received The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea Mayor's Awards in February 2021 and acquired an office in 1 Cluny Mews, London, SW5 9EG, in May 2021.
In June 2021, the Kensington Kings team won the league and the St Charles community team won the County Cup, and in July 2021, the club was awarded a special recognition ELCO award at the Middlesex FA McDonald's Grassroots Football Awards.
The club held its second Annual Awards Presentation at the curve community centre in August 2021 and partnered with Middlesex FA to create a female-only division in the North West London League from September 2021.
Minds United FC entered the Surrey Community League held monthly at Elmbridge Xcel Centre with three male teams and two female teams from September 2021. In the same month, the club also entered two male and two female teams into the Surrey Football For All League held on the last Sunday of each month at Elmbridge Xcel Centre. The club took two teams to the Hampshire Inclusion Cup in Portsmouth and won the Cup by defeating Waltham Abbey in the Final.
In April 2022, the club entered three teams into the Woking Wellbeing Cup at Woking Stadium and the first team won every match, defeating Millwall 7-0 in the final.
In May 2022, the St Charles Community Team won all three premier leagues and every tournament throughout the season. The club's first team travelled to Lecce, Italy, to participate in La Testa Nel Pallone tournament, winning every match and coming back in the final from 0-2 to win the match 5-3.
In June 2022, the club's Under 25s team were invited by Sported to Chelsea FC stadium to participate in a community event.
The St Charles Community team defended the county cup in the same month, beating the London Borough team in the final.
In July 2022, the club's first team travelled to Pelhimrov, Czech Republic, to participate in the EASI Cup, an annual European mental health tournament, winning the Final against Liverpool Football Therapy 3-0.
Moving on to the 2022/23 season, the under-25 team won the West London Royal Football League in October 2022, despite it being their first time in the league. Later that same month, the club held its 3rd Annual Awards Presentation at the Latimer Road clubhouse, where awards were given to the five national and international teams from the previous season.
In July, Minds United FC's International team travelled to Pelhimrov, Czech Republic, to take part in the EASI Cup 2022, an annual European mental health football tournament that is held in different countries each year. The London team put up a remarkable performance, winning their matches and emerging victorious in the final against Liverpool Football Therapy with a score of 3-0. This is a remarkable achievement, and the team should be proud of their exceptional performance. It's great to see events like the EASI Cup promoting mental health awareness through sports and showcasing the skills and talents of players from diverse backgrounds. Minds United FC's International team had a wonderful opportunity to participate in the La Testa Nel Pallone tournament in Lecce, Italy, in May. This annual European mental health futsal tournament provided the team with a great experience, where they displayed their skills on the pitch and emerged victorious. Throughout the tournament, the London team remained undefeated, and they demonstrated resilience and determination in the final, where they fought back from a 0-2 deficit to win 5-3 against Italian team Calcio Eboli. The crowd was cheering "London On Fire" on Her Majesty The Queen's Jubilee, adding to the excitement of the victory. It's wonderful to see tournaments like La Testa Nel Pallone promoting mental health awareness through sports, and the Minds United FC team should be proud of their accomplishment and the positive impact they have made.
